Pistachio Bread

This Christmas I made a couple loaves of pistachio bread for the ladies I visit teach. One of them requested this recipe so I figured I'd post it here for her and everyone to enjoy. It is SOOO moist and yummy. It's one of my father-in-law's favorites at Christmas.

Title: Pistachio Bread
From: Amanda Dipo

Ingredients
  • 1 white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 small pistachio pudding mix
  • 4 large or jumbo eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup sour cream

Method

  • Spray a nonstick spray on the bottom only of 2 loaf pans.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on the bottom of loaf pans to coat.
  • Divide batter into 2 loaf pans and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top of batter.
  • Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until toothpick inserted into the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
  • Dump on rack to cool.
