You've all probably noticed a big change on our site a few weeks ago. Our big picture of our family is now just a banner on the side with the words "Hoping to Adopt." We are working once again on adoption paperwork. We hope to be approved to adopt by October when Owen turns 18 months. Then we wait again. Thankfully so many of you have blogs and people who we don't know who read them. Those people might know someone in a situation where they have a baby (younger than 6 months) for adoption. So, to get to the point, we're asking those with blogs if they wouldn't mind put our little banner on their side bar.
- For those on Blogger, all you have to do is edit your Layout.
- On the side bar of your layout, click "Add an Element" picture.
- Under "Picture" click "Add to Blog"
- In the "Link" text box type "http://www.barryandrebecca.com"
- Click the "From the web" for the image source and type in "http://www.barryandrebecca.com/banner.jpg" and then press the "Enter" key.
- Click "Save"
If the "From the web" option doesn't work then just right click our banner and save it to your computer. Then just Browse and upload it instead of using the "From the web" option.
dude, I tried with that URL and it won't load up..... Am I doing something wrong?
